AIRS - The Alliance of Information and Referral Systems provides a professional umbrella for all information and referral providers in both public and private organizations. Comprehensive and specialized information and referral programs help people in every community and operate as a critical component of the health and human service delivery system. The Mission of AIRS is: "To provide leadership and support to its members and Affiliates to advance the capacity of a Standards-driven Information and Referral industry that brings people and services together."
InformCanada - InformCanada is the national organization of information and referral providers, and serves as a resource for members from coast to coast. InformCanada supports the development and promotion of national standards and best practices in information and referral. The association is dedicated to strengthening information and referral across Canada, and assisting in the implementation of national initiatives such as 211.
VolunteerCanada - Volunteer Canada is the national voice for volunteerism in Canada. Since 1977, the organization has been committed to increasing and supporting volunteerism and civic participation through ongoing programs, special projects and national initiatives, by developing resources and by engaging in research and training across the country. Working with volunteer centres, community and national organizations and businesses, Volunteer Canada actively leads national dialogues on how volunteerism is related to citizen engagement and civil society and provides leadership on issues and trends in the Canadian volunteer movement.
InformOntario - The Association of Community Information Centres in Ontario (InformOntario) is an umbrella organization representing CommunityiInformation centres and associated information and referral providers around the province of Ontario. The Association's mission is to strengthen and enhance community information centres in Ontario by providing them with leadership in the areas of standards, accreditation, marketing, development and information technology.
CIOC - The Community Information Online Consortium is a member-based non-profit consortium formed in 1999 to create, improve and support its online software so that its members can efficiently serve the public and fulfill their own mandates. CIOC's purpose is building community online - people helping people by sharing information, experience and resources. The award-winning software was developed by and for the non-profit sector and is actively being used across Canada to help thousands of citizens every day.
Child Youth and Family Services Coalition of Simcoe County - The Child, Youth and Family Services Coalition is a countywide alliance of organizations providing services to children, youth and their families in Simcoe County. Formed in 1999, the Coalition evolved from a commitment by children's service providers to find ways to establish a streamlined, unified planning process that would lead to improved outcomes for children. This vision quickly expanded into a strategic, collaborative and integrated planning infrastructure allowing members to work both together and independently to meet the shared vision of improving the present and future wellbeing of children, youth and families.
